Many are the users who have gone from working in person to working from home. Depending on the type of work, it is likely that throughout the day attend a large number of video calls. In this sense, both Zoom and Google Meet have become the most used platforms like Microsoft Team.
A few months ago, Microsoft Teams added a new feature that allowed gather in the same virtual room to all those attending a video call, giving a less serious appearance, but just as formal. Now it is Zoom who has added this new function, a function that allows the person making the video call to create a virtual stage with all the attendees.
In this way, all the people who participate in it appear in the video call, with a maximum of 25 people, on a virtual background that can be a boardroom, a classroom and even a gallery of pictures.
When the host shares their screen, the immersive view feature will be replaced by screen sharing and will be available again when the content is no longer shared. This function is found in the menu Account Settings - In Meeting - Meeting - Immersive View.

To prevent some people from appearing larger than others, the host of the video call can adjust the screen size of each. This new feature is available for all Zoom accounts, that is, both free and paid.
For now, this function only available in the desktop app with version 5.6.3 or higher. We do not know if the company's plans are to implement this function in the applications for mobile devices, since these are the most used for this means of communication due to the high quality of its camera as opposed to most computer equipment.
