With iOS 9 came many features that we love, like the split screen, the SplitView, the videos playing in the background or even playing like a bubble on the screen while we navigate through the interface and other applications. Unfortunately, YouTube has its own player, so we lose some functions such as keeping it playing with the device locked or the video in the background.
Today we show you the best alternative to YouTube: It's called Tubex and I already use it as my main app to view and consume videos from the Google platform.
Tubex offers you more than Youtube
The app may have a bug or the interface may not be as comfortable or pleasant as the one on YouTube, to which we are used to, but in essence it is the same. Same content and same videos, it is nothing more than a different way of using the same platform. Its strong point is that it uses the iOS player, so it allows us to leave the video in the background, zoom, lock the screen and much more. So we can take advantage of iOS 9 and the iPad Air 2 or Pro.

Totally free, and regarding ads it is similar to the official app. It has a different version for iPhone and another for iPad, but if I'm not mistaken it only allows you to log in to one of the devices at the same time, unless you have solved this problem in the last year. Just in case, I use it mainly on my iPad, which is where I get the most out of it, on the iPhone I don't care about using Tubez or YouTube, because I don't see many videos on it either.
