Tomorrow we will have among us the new macOS Sierra

Only two weeks have passed since Apple introduced the new iPhone and Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2, watches that now have new processors, GPS in the case of Series 2 and waterproof. That same day it was reported that the operating system for iOS devices would arrive on September 13 and than that of computers, the macaOS Sierra would arrive on the 20th of the same month.

Well, we are already a few hours away from the new macOS Sierra system being among us and with it the many new features that have been implemented and that is why we want to remind you what you have to do before installing a new version of the operating system.

With the arrival of the new operating systems everyone goes crazy and millions of users install the new version of the system without taking into account certain things that if something goes wrong, they can return all your data without any problem. The first thing we have to do before deciding to update the system to the new version of macOS Sierra is to have guaranteed the backup of our data as well as the installers of the applications that have not been downloaded directly from Apple's servers through the Mac App Store.

To have your backup you can work mainly in two ways, or you do it yourself manually or with a third-party application or if you have an Apple Time Capsule you can save your copy without any problem in case a disaster happens. It is clear that the most normal is the first option and that is why you should get down to work.

As for the applications that need the installation files, you should bear in mind that you may run into incompatibilities in your current applications or have to reinstall the system from scratch and therefore need the installation files again. It is recommended that you go looking for the necessary files in case you need to use them.

However, even though we have discussed this, we know that thousands of users are going to update "bareback", an action that in the event of any problem with the update, would cause them to lose all their data. In the following link Apple itself explains how to update if you don't know how to do it.
