An option has finally arrived in Spain that users in the United States could already use for a long time and is the possibility of entering the Apple Store online, buying a certain product and being able to mark that you want to pick it up in the Physical Apple Store that suits you best.
This method was put into practice with the arrival of the Apple Watch in Spain on June 26 of this year and I can speak in the first person that I loved using this new method since within a few hours I was able to have my Apple Watch unit without the need for unnecessary queues.
Now, the person in charge of everything that has to do with the physical Apple Store, Angela Ahrendts, has struck the table by adding to six more countries the possibility of being able to make reservations and pick up in store. As we have anticipated, Spain is one of the countries where it is already available and that is those of Cupertino They have not hesitated to announce it with great fanfare.
On the Apple page that we link you can read the following:
To avoid crowds in stores and make shopping more convenient and faster, starting today, customers have the option of placing their order online on Apple's website and stopping by the store to pick it up later. Most products can be picked up from an Apple Store, typically within an hour of ordering. And in the store itself, if the customer so wishes, they will help them configure the product so that it is taken away ready to use.
The operation of the service is identical to the one I could use with the purchase of the Apple Watch. When you select a certain product you will see the phrase "Ready for collection" and it will let you see the availability of it once you put in the zip code of the area where you are going to pick it up for them to filter the Apple Store involved.
