At Soydemac we have talked to you more than once about Blackmagic software, one of the most important companies in the audiovisual world in charge of developing the most powerful hardware and software that exists in audiovisuals. Known for its early days developing affordable film cameras, the guys from Blackmagic They ventured to get hold of some of the companies that had developed specific software, Blackmagic saved on development by getting two of the most important applications. First was DaVinci Resolve, one of the best programs for color grading (color correction) audiovisual; then came Fusion.
If you are in the audiovisual world you will have heard of Fusion, if not, I will tell you that Fusion is one of the best VFX programs on the market, a program used at a professional level and with which you can enrich your videos with thousands of possibilities. Fusion has always been a paid program but with the arrival of Fusion 7 (after the purchase of Blackmagic) a completely free non-commercial version was launched, a version only for Windows, but that coming soon to OSX.
Many of you will think of Adobe After Effects when hearing about Fusion 7, but the truth is that Fusion 7 goes much further. I work in the audiovisual world and I have to say that Fusion 7 is one of the lightest and most stable programs that I have been able to test. We are in luck to launch the news of the arrival of Fusion 7 for Mac OSX since it is something that we have missed for a long time and finally it seems that the wait will come to an end (in this video you can see Fusion 7 working on OSX).
A free program (will have some other limitation) that follows the path initiated by DaVinci (also with a free version) so that any user can venture to learn more within the world of visual effects. We will inform you as soon as Blackmagic releases Fusion 7 for OSX.
