Today November 10, Apple will officially present the new Macs with Apple Silicon processors, processors with ARM architecture that will officially see the light on the market after their official presentation at the last WWDC 2020, an event that, like that of the new Macs, is not in-person.
Presumably, once the presentation event ends, Apple will officially launch the final version of macOS Big Sur, with the announcement of the new Macs with ARM processors being the Only good reason to delay the release of the macOS version for 2020 and 2021. The only good thing about this delay is that many of the applications are already supported.

In recent weeks, several are the applications that have been updated to be compatible with macOS Big SurBeing Luna Display y Carbon Copy Cloner the last to do so. Well, really the last one to do it is GoodLinks, an application similar to Pocket, which allows us to save links to read later without an internet connection.
In the case of GoodLinks, in addition adds support for Apple Silicon processors, a support that at the moment many of the applications that have been updated to be compatible with macOS Big Sur have not added, since thanks to Rosetta 2 they will be able to run without any problem.
Microsoft last week launched the first beta of Excel compatible with Apple Silicon, so everything seems to indicate that the final version of Office for processors with ARM architecture seems to will still be late, despite the fact that Apple claimed the opposite at WWDC 2020 in which it officially presented the new processors.
GoodLinks is available on the Mac App Store for 5,49 euros. If you already use this application, the update is completely free. This version is compatible with macOS 10.15 or later, it is available only in English but the language is not a problem to get us quickly with it. If you are tired of Pocket, GoodLinks is an excellent option to consider.
