If you are going to visit New York City and you plan to visit the iconic Apple Store at Fifth Avenue we have bad news to give you. Apple is going to close this Apple Store for renovations and to continue with sales, it moves the current store to the premises of a toy store in the General Motors building.
The toy store we are talking about is the famous fao schwarz, that it was always a dream world for the little ones in the house to have a huge variety of toys, especially stuffed animals.
FAO Schwarz, the oldest toy store in the United States, is ready to abandon its ground-level store in the General Motors building in July 2015, due to the increase in the rent of the property that they cannot bear. The store is just a short walk from the current Apple Store on Fifth Avenue.
It seems that Apple plans to renovate around 20 existing stores in the United States, trying to double the size of some of them. The Regent Street store, Apple's UK flagship is another of the stores that are going to be renovated while the San Francisco store in Union Square will be relocated.
The Fifth Avenue Apple Store was last renovated in 2011, when the existing glass in the cube was replaced and seamless glass panels were installed.
Well, I visited her last September and I was disappointed, I expected her bigger.
