Siri in the new macOS Sierra looks good

It is criticizable that the Siri assistant for Mac don't get to version 10.12 macOS Sierra, but the wait worth it. Siri is out now, and even though it's the first of the developer beta versions, it works really well.

Apple has not been complicated to bring Siri to the Mac, it waited for a long time after its official launch to add it on Macs and the options it allows us to perform are similar to those we can do with our iOS devices.

These are just some of the options available from Siri for macOS Sierra, but there are many more:

• Ask about the weather
• Perform a multiplication
• Open Telegram, etc.
• Post things on social media (Twitter, Facebook)
• Consult the Maps application
• View photos from the photos app
• Make a Facetime call
• Search Video
• Listen to a music list
• Activate "do not disturb" mode
• Find friends in Maps
• Check the email if we have news
• Random questions to search the net
• Activate Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

And a long endless list of tasks that are open to Mac users with the personal assistant in macOS Sierra. How curious I can say that the female voice I quite like in the assistant for macOS, but instead the male is much more robotic and I'm not so convinced but everyone is free to choose the one they want from the Siri settings.

There is the option to use Siri in all languages that we have available on the Mac, so this will not be a problem. On the other hand, we can think or rather ask Apple why it does not add the activation through the command: Hey Siri on the Mac, since it is not possible to use it and it is required to press on the Dock icon or on the menu bar to activate it. It is not a problem as such, but if we would like this possibility to reach Macs. Then it would be a matter of synchronizing through the Wi-Fi network or similar, so that it does not activate on the iPhone / Apple Watch and on the Mac the time.

The user experience in general is very good, despite the fact that it is new and that now we will be using it more often for that reason, but ultimately it can be very useful in some situations in front of the Mac to be more productive.
