Re-maximize windows in OS X Yosemite as usual

Now with the public beta already released, many users have found that the green button associated with the window now it does not work to maximize the window in which they are located, but to access full screen mode. Since the beginning of OS X, the now classic and well-known green button to maximize, orange to minimize and red to close windows was integrated into windows.

Although we think that its usefulness is always the same, it is not entirely true since the behavior differs slightly depending on where we are, for example in the Finder if we click on the green button, the window the window will be enlarged as much as it can in order to show the maximum number of files at once, that is, if we have few files it will not maximize the entire screen but only the proportional part to display them. However, applications will always try to maximize the screen as much as possible to occupy the maximum

Remember that the icons always appear without any indication until we hover the mouse cursor over, at which time the symbols for each of the buttons are displayed, the "+" or maximize being the one chosen for green. On the other hand, to enter full screen mode we will have to move to the upper right and press the two arrows diagonally, where to exit it, simply press ESC and it will return the size of the window just above.

In OS X Yosemite this will no longer be the case but they have modified this option to minimize the number of buttons in the window frame, so now the same button to maximize the window will also be used to enter full screen mode as the default action. If what we want is to see the "old" symbol "+" of yesteryear again, we just have to hold down the ALT key while we place the cursor on it and we will have it, as simple as that. For me, it is a success for Apple to simplify elements that are not necessary to keep the interface cleaner.

in my yosemite alt + green maximizes height alt + UPPERCASE + green = maximizes height and width
ATTENTION it is useless if the window is bigger than the screen, which sometimes happens in some applications for example excel, .. in that case .. Window-> Maximize
