On several occasions I have found myself in the situation that a certain website of a certain service on the Internet, got stuck or gave me an error when trying to open it in the browser of the bitten apple, the safari.
Faced with this situation, what he had to do was copy the web address to be able to paste it in the search bar of another browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla. However, if you make a couple of changes to your system, the process will be easier and you will be able to open the web with a couple of clicks in another browser.
As I have mentioned before, when I enter certain websites, among which I can list, for example, that of the Gobiernodecanarias.org/educacion, it is a website in which there are different platforms to take courses, to make absences to students, to see information from the Ministry, etc. Well, on the teletraining platform of this website when credentials are entered through the Safari browser, the response is an error.
Faced with this problem, what you have to do is copy the address and open it with a new browser, an action that sometimes becomes heavy if you have to do it repeatedly in a short time. To help you what you can do is activate the Safari Developers menu, for which it will be enough for you to enter the upper menu of Safari> Preferences> Advanced and activate the option.
You will see how a new item appears in the top menu bar of Safari called Development. When clicking on it, a drop-down opens in which, in the first line we will have the option of Open page with. Now it only remains for you to choose between the browsers that appear on that list. Keep in mind that only the browsers that you have installed on your Mac will appear in the list.
