It could not be otherwise, we had to talk about the happy Pokemon Go, I play that has revolutionized social networks and the application stores, getting number one from day one and being the most used app ahead of Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook etc.
I have been testing it with friends of different ages and tastes and I bring my conclusions about the game, as well as some other criticism and aspects that Nintendo must improve so as not to spoil the success it is having.
Pokemon Go. fun when it doesn't fail
I have not seen an application or game that fails more than Pokemon Go, and the fault is not my iPhone 6 with the beta of iOS 10, but the game server, which is so saturated that it barely lets you capture pokemon. I went with several friends, some with more current Android and others with older systems, and they all failed us, so much that some afternoons we could not even log in to the game. It is the most criticized aspect, and it is no wonder. You launch a game to the public and it does not work, so the boom that Pokemon Go has given will be lost, since many are deleting the application for not being able to play.
On the other hand there is the issue of the battery, which in 3 and a half hours the iPhone is cleaned and makes it unusable, and that I have tried to last me by leaving the screen locked and exiting the game from time to time. All my friends went with their external battery and even having it plugged into their smartphone the battery would not stop going down.
The objective of the game is to walk, walk a lot in order to capture them all. I have come to see people go by car in pairs with their mobile phones, who when they arrived at the place where there was a pokemon they greeted us and pointed to our mobile laughing, and we didn't even know him. Once you have captured many you go to gyms and try to win the fight so that it becomes your team: blue, red or yellow.
What am I missing from the game?
To be able to pass pokemon to your friends or contacts, as well as fight against them. You can't, and that makes the game a bit boring once you get tired of walking through the streets of town looking for a Pokemon that appears right where there is no cover.
Let's see, I have to admit that the game is very good and what the idea is I like, but it has just been released and they have a lot to improve. The first thing is the servers, that it stops crashing every two by three, something very important, especially if we consider that if it doesn't work I can't play, and if I can't play I end up frustrated and I delete it.
We will see in the next few weeks if Pokemon Go is getting better or is starting to get boring and users end up leaving it. And you do you think? Is it just a fad game or will it remain a successful and used game for a long time?
