OS X Yosemite is one of the most anticipated Apple OS by Mac users. Part of the blame for all this is undoubtedly the turnaround that the apple company has given to compatibility with iOS devices and its also expected iOS 8, something that many users were waiting for and that It gets closer every time.
This new operating system is breaking records even before it goes on the market officially and this is undoubtedly due to the possibility of install OS X 10.10 Yosemite in its beta version for all users. If we look at the graph that we leave after the jump we see that the growth of the new OS X 10.10 increased this summer 2,1% in just one month.
The holiday period and the possibility of installing the new OS X Yosemite practically 100% functional have caused an increase in the installation of users. For every 1.000 Mac machines 33 already have the latest public beta version of OS X Yosemite installed, something that had never been seen before but obviously Apple did not release public beta versions of its OS X either.
Now we can only hope that Apple decides to launch the final version of this long-awaited OS X 10.10 for end of next month, at the moment they already launched last Tuesday the Developer Preview 7 and it is expected that they will soon launch what will be their third public beta. Are you one of those who have the OS X Yosemite public beta installed on your Mac?
I, from what I have seen so far, have stopped waiting. If no juicier news comes, I'll stay at Mavericks for now
