While everyone is aware of iOS 8.4 and the new tool to play music in streaming, Apple Music, on I'm from Mac we also make room for new version of OS X 10.10.4 that brings numerous improvements to our operating system.
Apple launched the new versions at the same time and in this post we are going to see the interesting improvements that this version brings, if all goes well, will be the latest available version of the OS X Yosemite operating system. Obviously if problems or errors arise we can be sure that Apple will launch a new version before OS X El Capitan arrives, but in principle this must be the latest version of Yosemite. Let's see the improvements ...
Here's what's new in OS X 10.10.4
- Improvements in the reliability of the network connection and the Migration wizard
- Fixes various issues affecting the use of certain external monitors
- Improvements in iPhoto library, Aperture Photos, and syncing photos and videos to the iCloud library
- Fixes an unexpected shutdown of the Photos app with Leica cameras
- Fix an issue with delayed email sending with the native Mail app
- Fixes an issue that prevented browsing outside of a website caused by a JavaScript incompatibility in Safari
If we find other improvements or new features incorporated in this version, we will update this article. Remember that to update you only have to access the Mac App Store and click on Updates or from the menu of the > App Store ... All this added to the new iOS 8.4 and we are late to mess around for a while.

regards
But I just updated to 10.10.4 and iTunes 12.1.2.27 and nothing
But I just updated to 10.10.4 and iTunes 12.1.2.27 and nothing
This is how we are all ^^
I thought they would improve the start but it is just as eternal as before ...
Do you know if it brings any improvement with TRIM compatibility so as not to use third-party developers?
Good Gam, what we know is that at the moment they have added support for third-party SSDs through a Terminal command. Soon we will publish an entry about it
regards
It won't let me update, and every time I try it the imac becomes unstable.
If you can, do a permission check and repair before installing again. One question, did you have the beta of OS X El Capitan installed?
regards
Thanks, then I try. It didn't have El Capitan, but Yosemite 10.10.3. Greetings.
The same thing happens to me as Joel, what do I do? '
Hello. I have been updated but I still have the icon that I have the update. I have claimed and it is still the 10.10.4 and exactly the same ... I don't know whether to download again ..etc ... SOS
I downloaded the apple update combo ... it took a century ... I thought it got hung ... it restarted !!!!! look about this mac… it already put 10.10.4 …… it followed the pending update icon… ..and click on updates…. clock …… .and bang! the damn update disappeared and the equipment is already updated!

Neither are the rules.
Well, after installation it won't let me open the "Notes" application, it throws an error that says "The operation could not be completed (Error NSSQLiteErrorDomain 8)".
Besides that, when I go to "System Preferences" and I want to go to the option "iCloud" or "Internet Accounts" it doesn't let me either, it throws me another error "The iCloud preferences panel could not be loaded.", Thanks Manzana!
I think that on my Mac mini mid 2011, the only way to improve performance is with 8MB of RAM instead of 4 and a Solid State Disk. There is no other way, El Capitan is not going to trace this either.
Without a doubt, you will give your Mac a new look if you make those changes that you mention. 🙂
hi, i have a question, i have a mac mini with os x 10.10 yosemite and i wanted to know if i can upgrade to os x 10.10.4 or do i still need os x 10.10.3.
although the updates show me 10.10.4.
I installed the latest update of yosemite 10.10.4 and since then my Macbook pro 2011 is freezing at all times, until writing this I get the color circle and it does not play videos on the internet other than those on Youtube.
Try reinstalling the operating system and it remains the same, so I'm sure it was the last update.
Has this happened to someone else and they know what to do?
Hello Julian,
the new features in this version are not enough to 'saturate' your Mac's memory. Perform a permission repair and reinstall OS X again to see if you can solve it.
Regards!
That is the problem, the memory is not saturating, now do the permissions and they are fine, I had already performed the reinstallation of the OS from 0 and neither and it froze looking at the process manager, in which only 10% were active, so I think it must be something other than memory. Also how it started to be like this since I installed the last update I say that was that.
Regards!!
You already solved this…. I updated today and my computer is exactly the same as what happens to you. Please someone else with the problem that has solved it ???
Hello Jose,
I couldn't fix it. It continued in the same reboot and black screen. I took it to an unauthorized mac technician and he reinstalled the operating system. 1 hour ago the recovery of the back up was finished and everything was perfect. It cost me $ 55. A moment ago I tried to reinstall little snitch and my screen went black, I did a forced restart and everything was fine. Apparently there are many problems to install applications without updates to this new system, better not install anything else until the issue with Yosemite stabilizes because, what laziness!

Hello, I updated my MacPro, when I restart the screen went black, I only see the cursor arrow and the waiting clock turning. I don't know what to do, I'm hundreds of miles from an Apple Store. Any clue? Did it happen to someone?
hello i updated to 10.10.4 and mouse operations like scroll page to right or left as well as scroll has stopped working
Good Angel, that has an easy solution.
Go into system preferences - Mouse - and check the boxes.
Regards!
I have a 27 »imac from 2011 with maverick and yesterday I decided to upgrade to yosemite 10.10.4 from the Apple Store. It took a long time to download and this morning I gave it to install. Well, I have the apple and the progress bar in half like 5 hours.
What can I do or should I not do ??? I'm locked ... like my iMac
Hi Luis Miguel, what you can do is try to reinstall from the disk utility and if it doesn't let you I would download OS X again as the download might fail.
regards
Hello! Please help!
I installed yosemite 10.10.4 on my Macbook pro 15 ′ with 10gb of RAM and 500gb of hard disk. When I installed it, it hung all night and the next day what I did was force the shutdown and start it in safe mode and it went up, all perfect until today. A while ago I wanted to test if I could use the screen of a powerbook g4 as a monitor and I connected it to my other macbook pro via VGA but could not connect it. I disconnected the cable from the PowerBook and stayed for a while using safari and Spotify. I tried going into system preferences and it got hung up again, then from there it has been rebooting itself. I have reset the pram, I verified the disks with disk utility when I managed to enter safe mode but it remains the same.
If anyone knows what else I can try before taking it to the technician, that would be great!
Thanks
Does it throw you some kind of error or is it on a constant reboot loop?
Hi Jordi, it just reboots by itself. it starts booting up, hangs in the middle, and restarts. Last night he gave me a black screen with letters and numbers, it did not cover the entire screen but only half. 🙁
Thank you
Well try these steps: https://www.soydemac.com/si-tu-mac-no-arranca-que-no-cunda-el-panico/ Let's see if we can solve it, tell us
