Last fall, iOS 8 brought us extensions for said application 'Photos' (Photos). These extensions have given developers, to extend Apple's mobile operating system, by infusing functionalities, into the Notification Centeroptions share, Keyboards, services of cloud storage y photos.

Extensions have been acclaimed, even more so than custom keyboards in iOS 8. There was only one problem :, OS X Yosemite, did not support extensions of the Photos application for Mac. Fortunately, the recently announced OS X 10.11 El Capitan, gives the green light, and now developers of photo editing applications can provide their own filters y editing tools of photos for Mac.

La confirmation came through the page official website from the beta of OS X El Capitan, on the Apple website, the link is at the end. Which says the following.

Create app extensions, give users access to their custom filters, and editing tools, directly within the Photos app on Mac, the website says.

Additionally, Apple's press release confirms, that users will be able to Download these third-party editing extensions from, the Mac App Store and access them directly from the Photos application (Photos).

As an example, the 'Cameta +'is the one I usually use to edit my photos on iOS. It offers a great extension, with a lot of filters and editing tools, within the Photos application. The problem is that these tools are not available on Mac photos. With the latest OS X 10.11 Software Development Kit, app makers such as Camera + can provide photo editing extensions via Apple's mobile and desktop platforms.

This will be a great opportunity for application developers who offer both versions of iOS y OS X of your applications. A typical example would be Pixelmator, a powerful alternative to Photoshop available on the iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Well, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but in my case the editing changes I make to the photos don't appear on the rest of my devices. And the new way of organizing photos does not seem so simple to me, if it seemed chaotic before, now it does not seem much better, I still see it very confusing, especially if you have an iPhone, an iPad and an iMac, in each one the albums are organized in different ways, and in all three I have the latest version installed.
Anyone else happens to the editing? Nor do the photos appear automatically, every time I shoot one with my mobile it takes at least 24 hours. to appear on the computer.

Good Morning. My problem with "Photos" is that I can't customize the music for each album and they all come out with the same song (even if I choose it from my music library for different albums). With iPhoto I could put a different theme song in each slide show and choose the time they were on screen (the latter does not seem possible either).
Am I doing something wrong or will I have to wait for a possible new iPhoto?

Thanks in advance if someone is kind enough to clarify my doubts.
