MacOS Sierra brings a large number of new features, especially if we take into account that they are not accompanied by new Macs with new features in Hardware. That is, they can not go further at least until the expected new MacBook Pro (and who knows any more Mac of the family) are presented. To date, we continue to know all the novelties presented that make the software at the forefront of technology.
This version of Notes wants to respect simplicity and minimalism of Apple applications, but at the same time provide it with new and essential functions. For this move the functions that do not vary from day to day to the preferences of the application. We are talking about: hierarchy of notes, which information appears first, and the big news, changing the font size.
It has always been a highly demanded function. Notes has become a "minimal" text editor, capable of incorporating not only different fonts, but also images, melodies or maps. What it lacked, is to change the font size at the time of writing, something like adjusting the zoom in a text editor.
To access the aforementioned functions we must access Notes preferences. That is, click on the upper bar just the text notes located to the right of the block, the drop-down menu appears. By clicking on preferences we can see:
- Sort by hierarchy (previously on the main screen)
- Notes Header (formerly on the main screen)
- Default account
- "Default text size" by moving the image of the tabulator left and right we will see how the content of the note grows or decreases.
This function makes Notes "get older" and can compete with the rest of the applications that exist in the market.
