New update for CleanMyMac 3 version 3.2.0

cleanmymac-2

The CleanMyMac 3 application or tool reaches version 3.2.0 with a series of interesting improvements for all users. In this case, it is about compatibility with the Photos application of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan by eliminating the old iPhoto trash and straining the current Photos application. The tool helps in data cleansing by removing ancillary data, in addition to optimizing the data that is stored in our photo library and cleaning without directly affecting our photos.

This tool is really useful to free up space on our Mac in a way totally safe and also guarantees us a cleaning of those files that really do not bother us much but that added to the rest, make our Mac is losing space little by little.

Another interesting option of this update is that when we re-link the analysis with CleanMyMac 3 on our Mac, we can enable it to detect the photos in RAW format (they take up a lot of space) and they will be replaced by the high-quality JPEG format, thus optimizing the space of our Mac. To delete the cache of these RAW files You will have to choose them manually once the analysis is done, but it is certainly an interesting option that does not appear in the native Photos application either.

CleanMyMac is compatible with OS X 10.8 or higher and will occupy a total of 40 MB of space on our disk. All users already know that this application not available in the Apple store, the Mac App Store, and we have to resort to the MacPaw developer website to download the application that also has a trial version in case you want to try it before buying a license.

Why did the creator of this application not want to put it in the App Store?
