Good old Kim Dotcom launches the MEGAsync official app for all those cloud users who work with OS X. This is one of the applications that many of us hoped to have soon installed on our computer to facilitate the search and synchronization of our files.
The tool allows us to synchronize all our data in the purest Dropbox style and is very simple in terms of the interface. MEGAsync is cataloged by its creator as a safe, fast, flexible and generous tool in terms of storage because it allows us to save up to 50 GB totally free.
I am one of those that the closure of Megaupload meant a significant loss of files and that having my Premium account I said that I would never store my files in any cloud tool that this man could launch, but I recognize that to share 'unimportant data 'with family, co-workers or friends, it is one of the simplest and most effective ways that we have today and nobody can miss this type of service ... Much less when it is totally free.
To use it, it is so simple how to access its website and download it to our Mac the tool. Once downloaded, we fill in the details of our Mega account (if we have one, if not we create it) and all our content will be copied automatically. Then we can access from the upper menu bar on the right side of our Mac and manage from the MEGAsync folder everything we want to synchronize and share.
