Measure distances and areas from your Mac with Map Distances & Area

Measure distances

When measuring distances between two points or large areas, we can make use of the Topographic maps made available to us by the agriculture departments of each country. However, they are not always easy to find and use, especially when we are not familiar with the subject.

Google Maps allows us to measure distances and areas, but with a more than limited number of options. Fortunately, we have other applications at our disposal, such as Map Distances & Area, an application that we can download for free for a limited time, and whose usual price is 2,29 euros, and that allows us to measure areas of any size based on maps.

This application allows us to establish a series of pins to measure distances, which allows us to calculate distances that are not in a straight line. In addition, it also allows us calculate areas either polygonal or by forming circles or ovals.
