After so long waiting for this update we can finally know that we will have it available today as a download from the Mac App Store And the most curious thing of all is that it is totally free.
Much has been speculated on the price that this update would have, seeing how Mountain Lion was already asking for an amount of 17,99 Euros to be able to update previous systems.
As you already know in Mavericks we will find improvements related to memory management and compression where will dynamically adjust so as not to create bottlenecks when we run more programs than the physical memory of the computer can 'digest'.
Mention has also been made during the keynote to the ability to MacBook battery improvement where we can get an hour more autonomy compared to previous versions and even an hour and a half more of playback from iTunes.
Notifications They are also an important part of this retouched version of Mountain Lion, since we can reply to messages directly from the notification itself or find out about changes to our favorite websites thanks to the new push notifications from Safari.
Regarding other improvements, we have the references to the calendar with the integrated Maps application and suggestions for the same. The file tagging that we can use with iBooks and many others that were already discussed in June of this year during the developer conference at WWDC.
In short, a great update where the importance of the improvements included and your free price compared to other competitors such as Windows 8 at Microsoft.
More information - Some websites already activate Safari push notifications in Mavericks

But in the appstore it says that it is not available for now for Spain ………… I hope this tonight, I'm fried to catch it, hehehehehe.
Edito ……… .. is now available in the appstore, downloading.
Downloading but it is quite petadete!
In a way that Mac operating systems are free or very cheap compared to Windows is normal.
1 Why Mac OS is not licensed for other machines and neither do you buy an Apple Computer without Mac OS so these updates are very similar to what happens for IOS or Android, can you imagine paying for IOS or Android updates?
2 On the other hand, important updates (those that involve a name change) are usually given relatively every little time or at least much more assiduous than in Windows.
To all this I am more than happy that it is free and can download it as soon as possible
I installed it last night and the truth is that my iMac from May 2008 is better than before, quite fluid. So far, Mavericks is great.
Has anyone noticed that there is no longer cut file menu, and that the cmd + x, + c and + v combinations no longer work?
Rather, they appear deactivated to me, and I'm going crazy to activate them.
