The PDF format, created by Adobe, has become a computer science standard, and in many cases, it totally replaces the use of paper, both for communications between individuals and companies and for public administrations, which forces us to work with applications that allow us to manage these types of files.
The Preview app allows us to work with files in PDF format in a quick and easy way, however it does not offer us all the functions that we may need on a regular basis, such as disabling printing permissions, deleting pages from a document ... PDF manager allows us to carry out these actions and many more.
What PDF manager offers us
- Combine PDF files. This function allows us to put together different files or images in the same document in PDF format.
- Delete pages from PDF files. PDF manager allows us to eliminate the pages of the files that we do not need or do not want to share with other people.
- Reorder the pages of a PDF file. It not only allows us to delete pages, but also allows us to change the order of the pages, which allows us to establish the logical order that the pages should follow when we have joined several documents and we have not taken that small factor into account.
- Protect PDF with password. If we do not want third parties to have access to a file, with PDF manager we can protect access with a password.
- Disable printing and copies. Another option that this application offers us is the possibility of deactivating the printing of the document and being able to make copies of the document.
- Compress PDF files. Reducing the size of files created in PDF format is essential when we want to share it via email.
- Convert images to PDF. It also allows us to automatically add images to a PDF document.
PDF manager is priced at 8,99 euros on the Mac App Store, requires OS X 10.11 or later and a 64-bit processor.
