As we mentioned in the previous post, Yosemite is loaded with news and among them we find these two new functionalities that have been needed for a long time to finish rounding a quasi-perfect synchronization system and that is that Apple has thought of everything in this new version of your operating system and demonstrates it with iCloud Drive and Mail Drop, two simple but very necessary solutions to common problems that we will all have encountered from time to time.

If we look before we simply had iCloud with a free capacity of 5 Gb that is still maintained to upload our backup copies of our iOS device, save our photos and even the odd document, but we did not have a real-time synchronization of the content between our Mac and our iPhone for example, well, with iCloud Drive this has its days numbered because Apple promises such improved synchronization.

With iCloud Drive we can start a document on the Mac and finish it on our iOS device since it will save the specific data of the application so that we can edit it where and when we want, something very welcome depending on where we are and the time we have available. In addition, it is also important to note that it will not only be limited to OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 but will also come as an application for Windows and through the icloud.com web service. We have to admit that at this moment Apple has scored a bit with this service.

Mail Drop on the other hand, it ends up with the eternal problem of attaching files that are too heavy in any mail since we know that if we exceed the size, the mail client will return an error. This feature solves it thanks to the fact that the files or files in question are saved in iCloud with a limit of up to 5 Gb so that this does not happen again.
