On our Mac we have the application Contacts. Its main utility is to add a telephone number or address so that it can be synchronized with our calendar of some mail service and in turn, with the rest of the devices. Nevertheless, is an essential tool for other applications such as: Mail, Maps, FaceTime, Google applications, etc. That is why it is important to keep it updated and up to date.
However In the Contacts application, we can have the information of different accounts or services, not only from our contacts from the main agenda, but also from other agendas and here we can include at least the following: iCloud, Exchange, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Yahoo! among other. Next we teach you to select only those you want to view.
The first thing to do is open the contacts app. To do this we will open Launchpad or Spotlight (keyboard shortcut Cmd + space, if you have it configured by default) and write "Contacts"
Once open, in the menu bar, click on Contacts and select preferences (or the keyboard shortcut Cmd +,). Within preferences, the account option will appear. The different accounts that we have configured will be opened.
Be careful, at this point it is not necessary to delete the account, because in this case we will not be able to use it again until a new configuration. Instead, we will see that In each of the accounts we can select: see the account or not, in the contacts application. If, for example, we do not want to see Facebook contacts next to the contacts in our main agenda, we must click on the Facebook symbol on the left and then uncheck the option "activate account"
Finally a curiosity. For some reason, we can't see in Mac OS X Captain the contacts of TwitterOn the other hand, we can see the Facebook and LinkedIn contacts.
