I still insist that the trend of any Mac OS X application today is to find ourselves with the words lightweight and fast once yes and the other time, something that doesn't bother me at all. Optimizing code was always a good thing.
Lyn has these cool features:
- Allows you to upload images of virtually any size.
- Multithreading to take advantage of multi-core CPUs.
- HDR compatible.
- Allows you to modify and view the EXIF data.
- Support for the Apple Remote.
- View slides in full screen.
The target of this application is obvious: people who fall short of Preview but don't want to go to iPhoto.
At the moment it is free, but when it comes out of the public beta it will be paid.
