Lightworks 12 Beta Comes to Mac OS X

lightworks 12 beta

Yesterday they asked me about some free editing program and simple learning, a somewhat complicated question since most audiovisual editing and composition programs have somewhat complex learning, but what does exist are programs of this type of form free. A few days ago we were talking about the arrival of the final version of DaVinci Resolve 11 for Mac, a very powerful program that you can use for free (with some limitation).

Today I bring you other quite interesting software ... They are sold as the creators of the editing application that was used in films such as The Wolf of Wallstreet, Django, Hugo ... (well-known films), and only a few months ago it came to the world OS X since until then it was only available for Windows and Linux. We talk about Lightworks a very interesting audiovisual application from which version 12 Beta now comes to us. And yes, you can get it for free ...

In the video you can see the basic operation of the application, yes, it is a quite powerful application and with it you can do projects of a certain complexity. An application that can be obtained for free (as we have already mentioned) or by paying a monthly or annual subscription.

The limitations of the free version are not too important if you do not dedicate yourself to the professional world, yes, probably one of the most important is the inability to export our works beyond 720p, but hey ...

The operation is very similar to Avid, and yes it can require more precise learning than for example learning DaVinci Resolve 11. I don't think the jump to Lightworks is necessary, but if you are curious, I encourage you to try it.

You can Download the version Lightworks 12 beta through its websiteAs we have already mentioned, you can get it completely free of charge, so you have no excuse to at least investigate the operation of the application and decide if you are interested or not.
