One of the things that gets heavier in Launchpad with almost total security I would say is to eliminate the apps that we are not interested in and reorder them, something that Launchpad Control facilitates us.
We can go looking for the applications that do not interest us and we uncheck them in the list, obtaining in return a Launchpad noticeably cleaner than the one we had before, something that will only bring us benefits. If you use Launchpad I think it is an almost mandatory complement, although if you do not use it then obviously they are only useless bytes for your hard drive.
More good things: it is free and also installs as a preferences panel, so it does not 'take up' space like an application in the Launchpad itself.
