A new iCloud version 7.8.1 just landed for Windows users fixing the problem that the service was generating. A few days ago we talked about work that both firms were doing so that users could use this service again and now after a while it is already available and fully functional again.
The problem was caused by incompatibility and this in turn was causing headaches to users who saw how Microsoft itself cut itself off and stopped supporting Apple's service, preventing its operation. In the last hours it seems that everything is resolved thanks to the latest version released by Apple for Windows.
From Windows 7 to Windows 10
This new version is now available for download and in principle works from Windows 7 up to the most recent version of Microsoft's OS. The good thing about it all is that not many days have passed since the problem was detected, and we already have the solution on the table. Both companies have done a good job in managing the problem and now iCloud is already working fine on Windows.
So all those users of the Windows operating system who use iCloud can now get the latest version available that fixes the bug. In this way they will be able to access again the documents stored in the Apple cloud and the rest of the services offered by iCloud.
