In the new OS X Mavericks released by Apple we find many features and improvements added in reference to the previous version of the operating system for Mac, OS X Mountain Lion. Although these changes and improvements added in the new operating system are not related to the design of OS X, if we can say that the improvement in its functionality is important.
This time we will see a keyboard tip that we are sure more than one of you will like, since without being something 'really important' that helps us in doing our daily work on the Mac or improves performance in our work , facilitates us access to known Emoji keyboard (smileys and symbols for messages) with just three keystrokes on your Mac.
To access the Emoji keyboard with all its symbols and faces on our Mac in a really fast and easy way, we will only have to perform the following combination of keys at the same time:
ctrl + cmd + space bar
And that's it!
If we have a dialog box open and we perform this combination of keys, all the symbols and faces that the Emoji keyboard has available will appear just like the one in iOS 7. In the previous OS X Mountain Lion operating system we had an option to access the Emoji keyboard symbols much more complicated than this and it was done through the character viewer.
We can also create a custom combination on our keyboard so that they appear to us the symbols we use the most without having to perform the combination ctrl + cmd + space bar and all the symbols appear, this is done from: System Preferences - Keyboard, right in the Text tab.
This tutorial also works for OS X Yosemite.
