How to Convert Shazam Tags to Spotify Playlists

Surely many of you use Shazam on your iPhone, iPad or Mac to discover new songs and now, you can also create Playlists in Spotify from your tags in Shazam.

To listen to the complete songs discovered with Shazam like a Playlist on Spotify You just have to follow the following steps, although keep in mind that you will need to have a subscription activated since this function is not available in the free mode:

  1. Open the application Shazam on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Click on the "My tags" section that you will find at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Access the Settings menu (in the upper right) represented by a gear icon. IMG_5647
  4. When you are in Settings you will see the two options to "Connect to Rdio" or "Connect to Spotify". In this case we click on the second one but if you use Rdio, go ahead. IMG_5648
  5. Now click on the button that says "Play entire songs", enter your Spotify account information. IMG_5652

Now you will no longer have to search for your tags in Spotify to listen to the entire songs because you will see that you already have one list created with your Shazam tags. Also, every time you discover a new song you can add it to that list. For it:

  1. Situate yourself in the song in question
  2. Press the »+» button at the top right. IMG_5650
  3. In the pop-up menu, click on «Add to my list on Spotify"Or" Add to my list on Rdio ", depending on the service you use. IMG_5651

It does not appear to me to ask for user data. I only see the Play full tracks button. When I give it, safari opens and asks me to open the page in shazam (I give open that if it doesn't tell me that the link is not valid), and back in shazam it tells me that a subscription is necessary. It gives me two options: 'Go to spotify' or 'No Thanks'. I go for the first one and it opens the Account section of my spotify where it says that my subscription is premium and that's it. I have tried thousands of times. They don't connect 🙁
