How to add a blog to Flipboard

      filpboard, conceived as a news aggregator, is one of the best applications available for iPhone y iPad (and also for other operating systems) that allows us to keep up to date with everything we are interested in and also share them on our favorite social networks. The great success of Flipboard lies in its conception as a interactive and personalized digital magazine that allows access to both text, images or videos.

      Recently Facebook has launched a similar application, paper (currently only available in the United States); It has a great design and the user experience is really exceptional, however it suffers from a serious drawback, at least from my point of view: in Paper you can only subscribe to “sections” (politics, technology, etc.) but not to sources of these sections, something a team of editors is in charge of, while in Flipboard You also choose the sources yourself, being able to subscribe to a specific newspaper, website, etc.

    The operation is very simple, basically just search for the source and hit the subscribe button, however, the problem appears when what we want to subscribe to is a blog.

Adding a blog to Flipboard.

      When we want to add a blog to Flipboard The natural thing is to search for it in the app's search engine, however, this search will give us access to the blog page or social network results, but without the possibility of subscribing and thus adding it to our Flipboard.

      The first thing to keep in mind is that to subscribe to a blog in Flipboard the blog in question has to  have FEEDS configured.

      Once this is assumed, the process is as simple as a normal search with the only exception that the text to be searched must be as follows:

This will be how the blog will appear and when we click on the result it will be shown in the style Flipboard and with the button «Subscribe» active.

Once subscribed, it will appear in our list of additions and on our pages of Flipboard exactly like any other.
