The free GarageBand app now available

We now have the GarageBand application available on the Mac App Store for free for all users who have the new OS X Mavericks installed on their Mac. This is one of those applications that can be very useful for those 'maqueros' music fans.

It is a application renewed from scratch, totally new and with a new design to facilitate the task of composing or retouching a song, it is also quite simple to use. It allows us to add a new rhythm to the song we have created to change the sound with any instrument that has this great tool.

There are some videos where you can see songs created and modified with this application using Apple idevices and they are really spectacular. It also adds the iCloud compatibility which allows us to have all GarageBand projects updated on various Mac computers, it even allows us to import songs from the GarageBand iOS application directly.

So if you are on OS X Mavericks and you want to download this tool, it will cost you nothing. But in case you already have it bought before, you will find the small problem that some users are encountering and that is that you will have two applications installed, the one purchased previously and this is new, since it is a totally new application.

This is the new version of GarageBand 10.0.0 and it was released hours after Apple's keynote, it is 749 MB in size.

Hello, I have a problem every time I try to install Garage Band: I get this banner: "GarageBand cannot be installed on" Macintosh HD "because OS X 10.9 or later is required."

On my mac it says that I have the version: 10.8.5 and that there are no more updates…. If anyone knows what can be done to install it on the computer, that would be great, thank you very much!
