The developer AgileBits, responsible for the popular 1Password application for both iOS and Mac, has recently debuted. I say this because without going any further yesterday released an update for the version for mobile devices on iOS and today it is the turn of the version for Mac, which finally reaches the long-awaited version 6.0 of the program to catch up with iOS.
For those of you who do not know this application, simply say that it is an app for global password management of all kinds, both for web services and for financial products or any other type of management that needs a password and it can occur to you, it also has integration with iCloud and allows direct synchronization between your iPhone and your Mac, being able to create different "vaults" with a master password.
Personally, I have used this application to manage my passwords for a long time because it simply seems to me the most complete and ultimately the best. In November, the app opened up the ability to create team vaults in beta so you could share passwords with coworkers or friends safely. It was always a highly requested feature by the users and now with this version 6.0 we already have the possibility of having several vaults within the application with the possibility of managing them, as you can see in the image above.
One of the features that will be renewed in iOS was "Password Generator" and now it is also moved to Mac. This password generator will now create the same with the use of random words making them as easy to remember as possible, integrating both numbers, letters and symbols but equally effective. Although of course there is still the possibility of generating a password based on characters with the disadvantage that it is much more complicated than the user can remember them.
Those who bought or plan to buy 1Password Directly from the AgileBits website, they now have a function integrated that was previously only available to those who bought the application from the Mac App Store, this feature is synchronization with iCloud. Apple showed web services with CloudKit last year at the Worldwide Developers Conference, so AgileBits has gotten down to work to get an iCloud compatible version that can be purchased directly from your store.
The application is priced at $ 49,99 but if you come from a previous version the price may vary. If you are interested you can check the price and download from this link.
