Did you know that it is possible to invoke dictation using only your voice? In order to correctly configure your OS X system to do this, you must follow the following steps:
- We open System preferences and we enter the section of Dictation and speaking.
- In Dictation and speech we mark the option "Activated" and verify that we have indicated "Use improved dictation" after which we begin to download from the Internet what is necessary for this utility.
- Now we open System Preferences> Accessibility> Dictation and we mark the box «Activate the passphrase of the dictation».
- Below there is a box in which we can write a word that we must pronounce before saying the command "Start dictation" or "Stop dictation". The word that is configured by default is computer, then we must first say "Computer" and then "Start dictation".
If you want to see what commands you can use, you should go to the top menu bar of the Finder where it will have appeared a little icon of a microphone and by clicking on it you can see the existing commands.
