Today we provide one of our articles to an application that is sure to be of great help to all those students who, in addition to reading our news daily also have to face the study and interpretation of mathematics.
It's about the app GeoGebra, an application that is not new but that has been evolving for almost a decade, making applications as Matlab no longer seem so sober, boring and difficult to understand.
When one faces math problems, especially in the field of function representations, it runs into the disadvantage that since you don't have spatial vision you go from bad to worse. That is exactly what this application is for and its excellent performance and very careful interface will allow you understand the shape and interaction of graphs and geometry in mathematics.
This application has a very steep learning curve and is that most of the users who face it end up using it without problems and without using any instruction manual. You can have several views on the screen simultaneously, although by default we will have an algebraic column with all the formulas and values together with some Cartesian axes that will dynamically show all the inserted values.
However, what really makes GeoGebra special is its ability to import and export external resources created by its user community. For this, it has been created GeoGebraTube, an online platform that allows us to create a personal account with which to navigate from the application itself through the huge database of resources hosted on your website.
The application is totally free and multiplatform, there are versions for Windows, Mac and Linux as an application for Android and iOS devices. You can find it in the Mac App Store.
The application is no longer available in the App Store
Excellent program, I always use it!
I'm a windows user and I'm doing great, greetings
