At last! RTVE launches its app for Apple TV

A huge surprise that I have taken a few minutes ago to discover that finally someone in Spain has taken the initiative by launching an application so that we can enjoy all its content on Apple TV, it is RTVE whose apps on iPhone and iPad are the ones that work best, by far, and we expect the same in this new journey.

RTVE already on your Apple TV, a joy

Many of us may not be especially lovers of national fiction but RTVE has bet, because it is also one of his missions, for her with great titles such as The Ministry of Time, Isabel, Red Eagle, Tell and many others.

In addition, the public body seems to have listened to my continuous complaints both in Apple Talking as in The Worst Podcast and finally, since its launch last November, it has launched an exclusive application for the Apple TV That, from what little I have just seen, works like a charm and includes all the Spanish Television series up to the last episode broadcast and, of course, without ads.

In total, the app RTVE for Apple TV puts at our disposal "more than 3.700 hours of video of 154 series", come on, we can go to the pharmacy for eye drops😅.

In the application - called Alacarta RTVE series - users will be able to have at their disposal popular series such as Acacias, Six Sisters, Cuéntame, the Ministry of Time, Red Eagle and many more completely free.

On the main screen, we will find a first section of featured content followed by the "Last episodes broadcast".

We can also mark our favorite series and these will appear in the section following the previous one.

The operation of the app RTVE for Apple TV it's really simple. From the main menu we can search by genre for the series that we like the most or go directly to that series that we cannot stop seeing from the «Search» tab, where we can enter the title manually from our Siri Remote, dictating it or from the Remote app from our iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch or from a keyboard that we have paired by bluetooth.

All RTVE series are now available at Apple TV to consume them whenever and wherever you want, in a pioneering step by the Corporation compared to other European broadcasters. In fact, the RTVE app is among the highlights of Apple's service.

Indeed, RTVE is the first media group in Spain to bet on Apple TV and makes all its content available to users, and for that alone, it already deserves our vote of confidence, although the track record of its smooth operation on iOS already supports it more than anything.
