These are all the televisions that will be natively compatible with AirPlay announced so far

Apple TV

As you probably already know, in recent days it has been news that Apple has decided to open AirPlay to other firms in a way, and that now the televisions of many firms that have been presented at CES 2018 incorporate this technology, since it all started with Samsung, as we already mentioned, to later continue with LG, from which we talk to you here, and finally continue with Sony and Vizio, in addition to future signatures.

However, what was not entirely clear were the specific models of the different brands that would be compatible with AirPlay Apple, which is why they have decided to publicly clarify the different models of televisions that will have this technology.

The Smart TVs that have been presented so far compatible with AirPlay

As we mentioned, in this case with the arrival of AirPlay to televisions, Apple has decided and opened this technology to some firms. However, while it is true that as they have commented shortly there will be more, for the moment only four will be chosen: Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio.

Now, the fact is that, as we mentioned, it was not entirely clear which would be the models of televisions compatible with this technology within the brands, which is why through their website they have opened a new section in which this can be consulted, as well as the televisions that will soon be incorporated. In this way, for now it seems that the models compatible with AirPlay would be the following:

  • LG OLED (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM9X series (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM8X series (2019)
  • LG UHD UM7X series (2019)
  • Samsung QLED Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Samsung 8 Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Samsung 7 Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Samsung 6 Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Samsung 5 Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Samsung 4 Series (2019 and 2018)
  • Sony Z9G Series (2019)
  • Sony A9G Series (2019)
  • Sony X950G Series (2019)
  • Sony X850G Series (2019: 85 ″, 75 ″, 65 ″ and 55 ″ models)
  • Vizio P-Series Quantum (2019 and 2018)
  • Vizio P-Series (2019, 2018 and 2017)
  • Vizio M-Series (2019, 2018 and 2017)
  • Vizio E-Series (2019, 2018 and 2017)
  • Vizio D-series (2019, 2018 and 2017)

In this way, as you may have seen, this time it seems that this novelty is not only going to be limited in many cases to the models presented at CES 2019, but also it will also work with some older ones, which will probably get an update soon software in order to adapt.
