Although the evolution of OS X has had major system remodels, there are elements such as the dock and the menu bar that remain perpetually in place and with more and more applications dedicated to different tasks, it may be that let's finish with the bar full of shortcuts to these applications, finding the icon that refers to the specific application is a hassle, rather than a help.
Bartender is an application that helps us keep this disorder under control and that we talked about a while ago. Now it has been renewed reaching its second version with many improvements and especially the compatibility with OS X El Capitan so that it can do its job by also becoming compatible with the new SIP (System Integrity Protection) mode that this version of the operating system integrates.
In the preferences we can change the elements that appear "normally" in our menu bar, to move them to the bartender icon and organize them according to their use. Once the application is executed, when modifying this aspect, it is possible that the system requires a system restart or simply that we give it administrator-level permissions, a price that must be paid for compatibility with El Capitan.
Within the waiter icon, which we can also modify, we can either install the accesses we want, leave them as they are or hide them permanently. To organize them, all you have to do is click on the selected shortcut, keeping CMD pressed in turn and place it where you like the most.
Besides we can also manage the system icons and apply a kind of 'patch' if the icon does not show the window correctly when we click on it, as you can see on the upper screen. In this second version, a search function is also added through keyboard shortcuts.
In my opinion, its utility is really intended for screens with a small diagonal since space is very important and the more we can save, the better.
