Callpad, calls from your Mac, now free for a limited time

Thanks to the integration between iOS 8 y OS X Yosemite We can make and receive calls on our Mac through the iPhone, however, the FaceTime app is somewhat confusing when making calls and this is precisely where it comes into play callpad that now we also have free for a limited time at the Mac App Store.

Since OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 the integration between both systems reached our devices through what Apple named Continuity allows us to receive, and therefore answer calls, from our Mac through the network of our iPhone however the other end, making calls, continues a little green.

We can effectively make calls through FaceTime but the truth is that this application is not 100% designed for this feature so it is very unfriendly. To use callpad on your Mac you must meet certain requirements:

• Both devices, Mac and iPhone, must be under the same iCloud account
• Both must be under the same WiFi network
• Having activated the option «Telephone calls. on iPhone »in FaceTime Preferences on Mac
• Having activated the option «Telephone calls. on the iPhone »in the FaceTime Settings of the iPhone
