For a couple of days, Apple One is now available officially in most countries where Apple offers its services. Apple One is a set of services that Apple makes available to us for a cheaper price than if we hired the services independently and that offers an interesting novelty that Apple had not mentioned.
If you choose to pay any of the different subscriptions that Apple makes available to us through Apple One, you have the option of expand your storage space up to 4 TB, for the two that currently offers a maximum in the independent iCloud plans, as we can read in MacRumors.
On the Apple One support page we can read:
After subscribing to Apple One, you can buy more iCloud storage if you need more. With both Apple One and an iCloud storage plan, you can have up to 4 TB of total iCloud storage.
That we can expand the maximum storage space to 4 TB is a fantastic idea that currently we cannot find in any other storage serviceHowever, that it is only available through a subscription to Apple One is not.
If you only use the storage space in iCloud and you do not have the need, especially if it is for work, to hire the rest of the service, Apple should give the opportunity to hire you without having to pay the extra cost associated with the other services.
The price of the additional 2 TB that we can contract if we already have the 2 TB storage plan is 9,99 per month. It is likely that in the future, Apple will allow the maximum storage space to be expanded to 4 TB, although it is also likely not to, forcing the user to hire Apple One if they want to enjoy 4 TB of cloud storage, with Apple you never know.
