Apple Maps continues to improve and this time we have been very close since Apple Maps already has available the information about public transport through its Madrid Maps application. This same morning they have been activated and it is already possible to see public transport data on both iOS and macOS.
In this case the information that is shown is exactly the same that we can get in the rest of the cities in which information about the train, bus, tram, etc. Apple has included all the information related to all the stations from where we can move to go to our destination.
EMT Madrid is showing bus schedules, we have information about the bus lines Metro, together with Cercanías in the case of Renfe trains. The truth is that this implementation is being done progressively and may have some other errors, but soon everything will be working 100% if it does not do it at this time. You simply have to select the destination within the application and it will show us all the possible information about estimated travel time, directions or transfers and possible incidents on the line.
For a long time, it had been warned that in Madrid this function would be added on public transport and there was some data already established in some stations in the Spanish capital, but it was not until this morning that Apple released all the information.
