Apple makes macOS Sierra beta 7 available to developers and users

siri-macOS-SIERRA

The seventh beta for developers and users enrolled in the public beta program of macOS Sierra 10.12 is released. The truth is that it was launched last night and initially the news that this new beta brings is related to system improvements in terms of stability and performance, in addition to solving the typical errors. We are facing a few frantic weeks of releases as far as beta versions are concerned and this can only be indicative that Apple plans to launch the final version very soon, possibly in the month of September we will have the final version available.

All versions that have been released to date both for developers and for users who have installed the public versions are being really stable and functional almost 100% as for the news that they add in macOS Sierra. In any case, if it is not 100% functional, it is due to minimal errors or because the user does not have an Apple Watch to be able to use the Mac unlock functionality with the watch. In any case, we are very close to seeing a final and official version for all users.

The build of this new beta is 16A304a and all users who have a previous version installed, already have the update available from the Mac App Store. We keep saying that it is best to use these betas in a foreign partition to avoid problems, but the truth is that it works very well in general and some users tell us that they have been using betas from the beginning and "zero problems". Despite this, the recommendation is always to be cautious, they are betas and may contain bugs or incompatibilities with our working software.
