We continue to report on the news that Apple has launched in its educational event and that this time are related to the iCloud space that students who have an Apple ID will have from now on and, therefore, make use of the devices Apple in class. As you may already know, the free space that any Apple user had in iCloud until now was 5GB, Insufficient capacity today if you make heavy use of an iPad or Mac for your studies.
Apple wants its devices to continue to be sold and therefore has decided that students and teachers have an increase in the free GB limit available in iCloud. In this case, From now on they will have a 200 GB cloud space allowing them to store all their school supplies in that space.
As part of its new suite of educational apps and experiences for kids, Apple has announced that it will increase the number of free iCloud storage available for children and teachers. Instead of providing each student and teacher with the standard 5GB of free storage, Apple now offers 200GB of storage at no additional cost.
Every student with a school-managed Apple ID will have access to 200GB of storage space to store assignments, resources, and other documents in the cloud. The new storage space goes hand in hand with ClassKit and the Classwork app, which stores assignments in the cloud so that students and teachers can access them from anywhere.
This is not a program that is available to any student; is limited to students who have Apple IDs provided by their school. Normal students and standard users of Apple devices will continue to be limited to 5GB of free storage space.
