Following the announcement at WWDC 2015 earlier this week that the Notes app would be updated, Apple has officially released the beta version of Notes on iCloud.com. This version is exclusively intended for developers and beta testers of iOS 9 and OSX 10.11 El Capitan, the beta version of Notes supports all the functions that were shown in the presentation of the conference and that they shared the spotlight along with the multitasking of the iPad or the new Apple music streaming service among others.

As I said, only and exclusively users running the beta version of iOS 9 or OS X El Capitan they will see this new version of Notes, however as indicated on the "beta" label In the upper left corner we can still find errors or disabled functions, all other applications are exactly the same as those in the stable versions.

Historically, rather than directing its beta software to beta versions of iOS and OS X, Apple has released its web apps solely via the beta.iCloud.com website. In this new way, Apple can better identify users who are using the new operating systems and thus better narrow down bugs and comments from those users.

According to the log that we can read in the current version of notes:

There are two versions of the Notes app available on iCloud.com. The one you see is automatically determined when you sign in to iCloud.com. If you update your iCloud Notes account on an iOS device with iOS 9 beta or on a Mac with OS X v10.11 beta, you will see the updated Notes beta app on iCloud.com. If not, you'll see the original Notes app on iCloud.com. The version used is indicated in the Notes toolbar.

The new Notes application will allow users to supplement written notes with custom drawings, imported images and links under the share extension. The option to add an image will automatically be included in the main list view by default, displaying thumbnail libraries and allowing users to quickly find the image they are looking for. In addition, it catches up with the most popular applications like Evernote.
