Angela Ahrendts claims not to be Tim Cook's successor, thus denying the rumors

The latest rumors regarding the leadership of Apple, were directed in the direction of the CEO of the company. On this occasion, he introduced himself to Angela Ahrendts as Tim Cook's successor, leading the most valuable company on the planet. Fake news, this was the response of the Vice President of Apple, when asked by a journalist, when joining the press conference, at the presentation of the new Apple Store in Chicago. This same journalist asked the current Apple CEO the same question, and he dodged the question:

I see myself in my role as CEO, to prepare as many people as I can to be CEO. That's what I'm doing, and then the board makes a decision on that.

Ahrendts joined Apple in 2013, where she was hired to fill her role as CEO of fashion company Burberry. Ahrendts manages Apple's retail business: she is in charge of store openings and remodeling and supervises device launches.

Back in 2013, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said he believed Ahrendts was the "future CEO of Apple"

At the same press conference, the journalists asked Cook about relations with Donald Trump. He told them that he does not expect retaliation from the president for Apple's stance on immigration and LGBT rights. Let us remember that the president harshly attacked the company during the electoral campaign. Trump is against the hiring of Apple personnel who are not born in the US However, he appreciates that Apple is considering bringing production to his country of origin.

Cook himself concludes his speech by saying:

We stay out of politics, but we participate in their discussions. I think most people see it and even if they disagree, they respect it.
