Airmail 2.5.2 now available on the Mac App Store

airmail-2-1

We already have version 2.5.2 of the Airmail 2.5 mail manager available and this time a lot of news and bug fixes are added from the previous version released by OS X El Capitan. At the moment and after a few days combining this application with the native OS X, I can confirm that it had some functionality problems that we hope are already solved with this new update. One of them was related to the synchronization of emails and it seems that if it is corrected in this new version 2.5.2 since they add it in the long list of news and corrections.

  • Preferences New iCloud Sync, app settings are synced across different devices

The downside of this email client (to say the least) may be its price, but for those who don't want to use OS X Mail, this is undoubtedly an interesting option to consider.

    Hello,

I don't know if it matches the update, but I just realized today that I cannot attach files by drag and drop (without inserting them into the message). Before, if I did it at the bottom of the window, it would take the files as an attachment and not embedded in the mail.
I don't know if it happens to someone else. No matter where you drop the file, it embeds it in the email, instead of attaching it. I restarted the app but it keeps happening.
Could it be something that was wrong in the new version? Does the same thing happen to someone else?

I just tested what you say. I have version 2.5.2. and in my case if I drag an image to the new email it inserts it in the message, if I drag a file it puts it as an attachment. To have the image as an attachment I have to select it from the attach clip or drag the image to the dock icon for new messages.

It only needs a read confirmation to be perfect!
