Today I leave you an application that in principle helps us to teach written and spoken English to the little ones at home, and why not, also for those of us who have a bit of a limp with the language. It is the application Word Magic - Toddler Reading and Phonics, which is also free for a limited time on the Mac App Store.
I already realize that it is not an app similar to having a teacher at home or those applications that allow us to practice English, Word Magic is a very basic app that simply repeats the text that we write on the Mac and also sometimes offers us a picture-shaped illustration so that the little ones at home clearly identify what they are writing.
The good thing about the app is that in addition to being very simple in terms of use, it simply repeats what is being written on the screen and this represents 50% of what is necessary to learn English, the pronunciation. It also allows you to add only words or phrases in a row and leaves large spaces between them so that you can help the little ones with this important language.
The app works on any Mac with OS X 10.11 or later installed, and as I say at the beginning of this article, it is free for a limited time, so don't delay in downloading it to your Mac if you want to participate or help the little ones at home with English.
