What's New in macOS Sierra
New file system Apple File System
This new file system it will mean big changes for all users in the medium term. The new file system for the disks of the company that is working to update the HFS + on which it has been working for almost 30 years.
RAID support
The arrival of OS X El Capitan meant the elimination of RAID support, a decision that pissed off many Mac users. With the arrival of macOS Sierra, RAID support is back in OS X again.
Disk Utility can be resized
For whatever reason, be it an error or by design, the Disk Utility window in OS X El Capitan cannot be resized which hinders the work if we have several hard drives connected to the Mac. Fortunately, with macOS Sierra this problem has been solved.
Space optimization
In the keynote, we could see a video in which we saw how macOS Sierra optimizes the storage of our Mac. In the demo we saw how it was able to free up more than 100 GB of space, simply by deleting old files that are no longer necessary and moving the most important documents to the cloud. Apple does not mention at any time what type of files are affected by this function.
But to work its magic, the storage feature will have to make a copy of all old email attachments, spreadsheets, iTunes movies we've seen, old pictures, RAW files, iTunes U courses that we don't use, songs from iTunes ... Come on, it may be more of a problem than a solution, since as a general rule, users know what information we have stored on our Mac and if it is there it is for something.
No option to install apps from outside the Mac App Store
This can be a very serious problem and the next macOS Sierra betas still do not allow the installation of applications downloaded from any website. The only option it offers us Gatekeeper is to install applications downloaded from the Mac App Store. Many have been the developers who in recent months have left the Apple application store for Mac to establish themselves on their own, but if Apple's intention is that they return with this option, the company is going astray as it will affect more to users than developers.

Safari extensions available on the Mac App Store
With the arrival of Sierra, Apple will create a new section on the Mac App Store for extensions, instead of going to another web page where we can find it as before.
Safari 10
The tenth version of Safari offers us bookmarks thumbnails that we have stored in the taskbar as well as the reading view has received an aesthetic renovation. When we are using Safari in full screen, when opening a new tab automatically the Split View function will be activated, which came last year from the hand of El Capitan.
New theme for the notification bar
The notification bar gets a white theme, instead of the dark one we had with El Capitan.
iTunes 12.5
macOS Sierra will come with iTunes 12.5 with a redesigned interface, especially the one for the Apple Music service.

In Capitan if it can be installed in Raid by cheating a bit, it works for me. A raid is created from a system prior to El Capitan, in my case a Maveriks and then an El Capitan installation is made from a USB in that raid created previously. Everything is going well except the updates, in which it gives an error and they are not installed, the solution is to repeat the previous process with the new version.
